Another name for cat hair loss is alopecia, it is a situation whereby cats shed off their hairs unnecessary from their bodies, many causes might result from this cause.

It is very important to know the various factors and circumstances that might lead to your cat's losing her hair, knowing these factors will help in preventing future occurrences.

The main cause of cat hair loss

Mite infection is another cause that might result in a circumstance where your pet starts losing some of her hair, mite is a skin disease that normally affects cats if not treated on time this irritates the body of the cat, in an attempt to get rid of this infection she starts scratching her body which will in turn result to cat hair loss.

Ringworm is another form of skin disease that will also lead to a condition whereby the cat suffers a loss of fur, most of the time the affected area which the ringworm has affected will be seen as round patches

Allergies: cat loses hair when it is under any form of allergy it can suffer from a food allergy that is eating food that is not compatible with her body system this sparks off some form of body reaction.

 You see the cat scratching herself this result in hair loss, also pollen and dust are other substance that can cause allergy in kitty these substances are also responsible for hair loss in cats

In all of the cases mentioned above as factors responsible for air loss in your pet if you notice any of these signs, you must take your pet to the vet doctor for a check-up and drugs prescription, 

On the other hand hair loss caused by environmental changes should be taken note of hence providing a better environment for your cat is another way of alleviating hair loss in cat
