Advertisements

If I discover that my cat is sneezing there are lots of options I must look at first before deciding whether to visit the vet or not.

Most of the time felines do sneeze naturally, just the way we humans do, that does not mean we are sick or we are having any form of infection.

It could just be a sudden change in the atmospheric air present at that time or other mere reasons thus the same applies to felines.

But in a situation whereby the sneezing persists for some time up to the next day then you know something is wrong with your kitty

There is the need to take proper care of him., it could be a sign or symptom of illness or bacterial infection in such a case you have to visit the vet for a proper check-up and the necessary medication been administered to the pet.

Some of the causes why cats sneeze
It could be that part of the facial hair around the nose has gain entrance into the nose this cause some form of irritation and uneasiness to your cat and in a bid of removing such hair, he thus sneezes.

This might continue until the hair strand in the nostril is removed, in a case of this nature you do not just rush the pet to the vet, you can carry out your little check-up and see if you can diagnose the cause.

Thus you have to hold the cat close to you and look through the nose to see if there is any substance or object that poses a distraction or that causes uneasiness to your cat.

Another common cause why cats sneeze is a result of dust, pollen, or other chemical substance in the house to which the cat is allergic.

To prevent future occurrences if your feline is the indoor type and still sneeze as a result of the particles or dust in the house.

You first keep the cat in a separate room free from dust or other substance that can spark such a reaction then you have to do a thorough house cleaning making sure that there are no traces of duct or pollen in the house

If you make use of all the above measures yet your cat is still sneezing then it is time to try out natural herbs.

They are very effective in the treatment of cat sneezing and they respond fast to these herbs

but if your cat sneezes out blood do not hesitate as this is a serious case take him to the vet for a quick examination and medication administration.
